UEFA Champions League: Bayern and Red Devils 1-1 At Old Trafford In Series Opener; Mattress Makers Gain 1-1 Draw At Barca

Two games were played on Tuesday as the quarterfinal round of the UEFA Champions League commenced.

At Manchester, England:
 
Bastian Schweinsteiger equalized in the 66th minute (before being ejected via the red card in the 90th minute) to lift Bayern Munich, who were reduced to ten men) to a 1-1 series-opening road draw with Manchester United.  Nemanja Vidic (seen here celebrating) scored for the Red Devils in the 58th minute.

At Barcelona:

Neymar's equalizer in the 71st minute enabled Barcelona to salvage a game-one 1-1 home draw with Atletico Madrid.  Diego Ribas (that's him, left celebrating with teammates Filipe Luis and Jorge Koke Resurrecion, from left to right after scoring) scored for the visiting Mattress Makers in the 56th minute.
