The draw for the UEFA Champions League's group stage took place on Thursday in Monaco.

Action begins on September 16, with each team in each group playing twice against each of the other three teams in its group.  The top two teams in each group would advance to the knockout stage of the Champions League while each of the eight third-place teams would join the Europa League's knockout stage.
