MLS: Friday Wins For SKC, Sounders; Seattle Locks Up Playoff Berth

Two games were played on Friday in Major League Soccer.

At Seattle:

Andy Rose scored the winning goal in the third minute of second-half stoppage time as the Seattle Sounders outlasted visiting ten-man Real Salt Lake 3-2 and became the first club to clinch a berth in the MLS Cup Playoffs, their sixth consecutive such appearance.

At Carson, California:

Dom Dwyer (39'), Benny Feilhaber (45'+2), Graham Zusi (52'), and Claudio Bieler (87') each delivered a goal as Sporting Kansas City demolished Chivas USA 4-0 on the road.
