MLS: Home Wins For Dynamo, Galaxy

Two games were played in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Houston:

Omar Cummings (15') and Oscar Boniek Garcia (67') each scored a goal as the Houston Dynamo blanked the visiting Chicago Fire 2-0, delivering a crippling blow to the guests' playoff chances.

At Carson, California:

Landon Donovan (who now has 135 career assists, tied for top spot on the MLS all-time list) played a role in all four goals, his own in the 50th minute, assists on the two Robbie Keane tallies (8', 82'), and on a 69th-minute goal from Gyasi Zardes as the Los Angeles Galaxy demolished the visiting New York Red Bulls 4-0.
