MLS: Three Players Score Twice Apiece As Galaxy Annihilate Sliding Rapids

At Carson, California:

After referee Baldomero Toledo handed a straight red card to Colorado goalkeeper Joe Nasco 34 seconds into the lone Friday Major League Soccer contest (the fastest such ejection in MLS history) following his NFL-style tackle on Alan Gordon, Landon Donovan (PK-5', PK-47'), Baggio Husidic (30', 86'), and Gyasi Zardes (45'+2, 75') each scored twice---once in each half---as the Los Angeles Galaxy won their fifth straight game by destroying visiting Colorado 6-0, handing the shorthanded Rapids a franchise-record seventh straight defeat.
