UEFA Champions League, Group G: Blues Top Lions In Lisbon; Royal Blues Salvage Home Draw With Maribor

Two Group G games were contested in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

At Lisbon, Portugal:

Nemanja Matic (that's him celebrating with teammates) scored the only goal of the match in the 34th minute as Chelsea defeated Sporting CP 1-0 on the road.

At Gelsenkirchen, Germany:

Klaas-Jan Hunetlaar's equalizer in the 56th minute enabled Schalke to salvage a 1-1 home draw with NK Maribor.  Damjan Bohar (shown here celebrating) scored for the Slovenian club in the 37th minute.
