OFC Champions League: Lotoha'apai United, Lupe ole Soaga Pick Up Thursday Wins; SKBC, Puaikura Eliminated

The preliminary round of the OFC Champions League continued with two games on Thursday, both of them contested at the Joseph S. (Sepp) Blatter Football Complex in Apia, Samoa.

In the opener, Mark Uhatahi converted two penalty kicks (4', 79') as Lotoha'apai United of Tonga dominated SKBC 4-1 and eliminated the club from American Samoa from contention for a berth in the tournament's group stage.

In the nightcap, Silao Milo scored twice (8', 45'+4) while Andrew Stefano scored the winning goal in the 75th minute as Lupe ole Soaga (Samoa) defeated visiting Puaikura 3-2 and eliminated the club from the Cook Islands in the process.
