UEFA Champions League, Group F: Chelsea Way Too Much For Schalke; Lions Top Maribor At Home, Eliminate Slovenian Club

Two games were played in Group G of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

At Gelsenkirchen, Germany:

Five different goal scorers---John Terry (2'), Willian (29'), Jan Kirchoff (OG-44'), Didier Drogba (76', that's him celebrating at game's end), and Ramires (78')---each tallied once as Chelsea destroyed Schalke 5-0 on the road and clinched top spot in Group G.

At Lisbon:

Carlos Mane (10'), Nani (35'), and Islam Slimani (65',that's him celebrating with teammates after scoring) each delivered a goal as Sporting CP climbed into second place in Group G following their 3-1 home win over NK Maribor, eliminating the Slovenian club from the tournament.
