AFC Champions League

Eight games were played on Tuesday as action in the AFC Champions League's group stage resumed.

GROUP A:

At Tashkent, Uzbekistan:

Mohammad Nouri's successfully-converted 21st-minute penalty kick provided all the scoring in Persepolis FC's 1-0 road win over FC Bunyodkor.

At Doha, Qatar:

Vladimir Weiss' equalizer in the 51st minute enabled Lekhwiya to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Al-Nassr.  Mohammad Musa's own goal in the 47th minute provided the Saudi club's score.

Group A Standings:

2. A-Nassr FC (GP: 2; GD: 0; TPS: 2)

GROUP B:

At Tehran, Iran:

Asamoah Gyan's penalty kick in the 58th minute lifted Al-Ain to a 1-1 road draw with Naft Tehran.  Siamak Kouroshi scored for the hosts in the 50th minute.

At Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:

Abdurahman Al-Khaibari (35') and Naif Hazazi (85') delivered the scoring that enabled Al-Shabab to salvage a 2-2 home draw with Pakhtakor Tashkent.  Igor Sergeev (63') and Kakhi Makharadze (PK-71') each scored once for the visiting Uzbek club.

Group B Standings:

2. Al-Shabab FC (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 2)
3. Al-Ain FC (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 2)

NOTE:  Al-Shabab has scored two total goals vis-a-viv Al-Ain's one.



GROUP E:

At Jinan, China:

Han Kyo-won scored what proved to be the winning goal in the 71st minute as Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors dominated Shandong Luneng Taishan 4-1 on the road.

At Kashiwa, Japan:

Masato Kudo scored twice (42', 87') as Kashiwa Reysol demolished visiting Becamex Bihn Duong 5-1.

Group E Standings:

1. Kashiwa Reysol (GP: 2; GD: +4; PTS: 4)
2. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (GP: 2; GD: +3; PTS: 4)
3. Shandong Luneng Taishan FC (GP: 2; GD: -2; PTS: 3)

GROUP F:

At Seongnam, South Korea:

Ricardo Bueno (PK-8') and Hwang Ui-jo (67') produced the scoring in Seongnam FC's 2-0 blanking of visiting Gamba Osaka.

At Guangzhou, China:

Gilberto Macena scored the winning goal in the 90th minute as Buriram United came from behind to knock off Guangzhou R&F 2-1 on the road.
