AFC Champions League

Eight games were played on Wednesday as group-stage action in the AFC Champions League reached the midway point.

GROUP B:

At Tashkent, Uzbekitstan:
Miroslav Stoch scored the only goal of the match in the 61st minute as Al-Ain defeated Pakhtakor Tashkent 1-0 on the road.

At Tehran, Iran:

Amir Motahari (86') and Leandro Padovani (90') each delivered a goal in the waning minutes as Naft Tehran came from behind to upend visiting Al-Shabab 2-1.

At Jeddah, Saudi Arabia:

Taisir Al Jassim scored both goals (72', 80') in Al-Ahli Jeddah's 2-0 home blanking of Tractor Sazi.

Theeraton Bunmathan's 62nd-minute equalizer lifted Buriram United to a 1-1 road draw with Gamba Osaka.  Hiroyuki Abe scored for the hosts in the 39th minute.

Devante Clut scored twice (22', 80') and Brandon Borrello once (13') as the Brisbane Roar salvaged a 3-3 home draw with Suwon Samsung Bluewings.  Seon Jung-jin scored twice (39', 50') and Jone Tae-se once (71') for the South Korean club.

The Western Sydney Wanderers held hosts FC Seoul to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Guangzhou, China:

Ricardo Goulart scored twice (10', 62') as Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao held off visiting Kashima Antlers 4-3.
