Copa Libertadores

Five games were played in Copa Libertadores group-stage action on Tuesday.

GROUP TWO:

At Montevideo, Uruguay:

Paolo Guererro (69') and Felipe Augusto de Almeida Monteiro (79') produced the goals as Corinthians defeated Danubio FC 2-1 on the road.



GROUP FOUR:

At La Paz, Bolivia:

Luis Martelli scored what proved to be the game winner in the 72nd minute as The Strongest held off visiting Universidad de Chile 5-3.



GROUP FIVE:

At Barinas, Venezuela:

Juan Manuel Martinez (51', 90'+1) and Nicolas Colazo (57', 70') each scored twice as Boca Juniors scored all five of their goals in the second half in their 5-1 road demolition of Zamora FC.



GROUP SIX:

At San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico:

Rafael Sobis scored twice (20', 85') as Tigres demolished visiting Club Deportivo San Jose 4-0.



GROUP EIGHT:

At Lima, Peru:

Diego Milito (PK-78') and Ezequiel Videla (88') each scored once as Racing Club de Avellaneda defeated Sporting Cristal 2-0 on the road.
