UEFA Champions League: Thiago Silva's OT Goal Helps PSG Knock Out Chelsea In London; Bayern Way Too Much For Shakhtar

Two games in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League were contested on Wednesday.

At London:

With the series deadlocked at 2-2 after a 1-1 game-two regulation draw, Thiago Silva (that's him celebrating at game's end) scored the series-winning goal in the 114th minute as Paris Saint-Germain knocked off Chelsea 3-3 (despite playing the last 90 minutes with ten men) in the two-game set on away goals.

At Munich, Germany:

Thomas Muller scored twice (PK-4, 52') as Bayern Munich destroyed visiting Shakhtar Donetsk 7-0 in game two and finished off the Ukrainian club by that same score on aggregate.  Shown here are the happy players from the German powerhouse celebrating their lopsided victory.
