Copa Libertadores

Group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores continued on Thursday with four contests.

GROUP ONE:

At Belo Horizonte, Brazil:

Carlos (12') and Guilherme Milhomem Gusmao (90') delivered the goals as Atletico Mineiro blanked visiting Independiente Santa Fe 2-0.

Group One Standings:

1. Colo-Colo (GP: 4; GD: +4; PTS: 9)
2. Independiente Santa Fe (GP: 4; GD: 0; PTS: 6)
3. Atletico Mineiro (GP: 4; GD: 0; PTS: 6)
4. Club Atlas (GP: 4; GD: -4; PTS: 3)



GROUP FIVE:

At Montevideo, Uruguay:

Jonathan Calleri scored twice (8', 43') as Boca Juniors laid claim to the Group Five title with a 3-0 road domination of Montevideo Wanderers.

Group Five Standings:

1. y-Boca Juniors (GP: 5; GD: +15; PTS: 15)
2.    Club Deportivo Palestino (GP: 5; GD: +2; PTS: 7)
3.    Montevideo Wanderers (GP: 5; GD: -2; PTS: 7)
4. z-Zamora FC (GP: 4; GD: -15; PTS: 0)

y-Won Group Five and clinched berth in knockout stage

GROUP SEVEN:

At La Plata, Argentina:

Yulian Mejia scored the only goal of the match in the 36th minute as Atletico Nacional defeated Estudiantes 1-0 on the road.

At Asuncion, Paraguay:

Pedro Benitez delivered the equalizer in the 57th minute as Club Libertad moved into second place in the Group Seven standings following their 1-1 home draw with the Barcelona Sporting Club.  Ely Esterilla scored in the ninth minute for the Ecuadorian club, now eliminated from the tournament.

1.    Atletico Nacional (GP: 5; GD: +1; PTS:8)
2.    Club Libertad (GP: 5; GD: +1; PTS: 8)
3.    Estudiantes La Plata (GP: 5; GD: +2; PTS: 7)
