Europa League: Sevilla and Napoli Grab Series Openers; Goose Eggs For Club Brugge And Dnipro In Belgium; Dynamo Kiev And Fiorentina Battle To 1-1 Draw

Four games were contested on Thursday as the quarterfinal round of the Europa League commenced.

At Seville, Spain:
Carlos Bacca (73') and Denis Suarez (88') scored late as Sevilla 
came from behind to top visiting Zenit Saint Petersburg 2-1 in the opening contest of their two-game series. Aleksandr Ryazantsev scored for the Russian club in the 29th minute.

At Bruges, Belgium:
The opening match between Club Brugge and visiting FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

At Kiev, Ukraine:

Khouma Babacar's stoppage-time equalizer (90'+2) lifted Fiorentina to a series 1-1 road draw with Dynamo Kiev.  Jeremain Lens scored for the hosts in the 36th minute.

At Wolfsburg, Germany:

Marek Hamsik scored twice (23', 64') as Napoli found themselves in the driver's seat for a berth in the semifinal round following their series-opening 4-1 road domination of VfL Wolfsburg.
