MLS: Fire, Revs, Sounders, Caps, Timbers Pick Up Saturday Wins

Five games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Jeff Larentowicz scored the winning goal in the 68th minute as the Chicago Fire came from behind to upend visiting Toronto FC 3-2.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Juan Agudelo (18') and Lee Nguyen (PK-54') delivered the scoring as the New England Revolution stretched the Colorado Rapids' winless streak to a league record-tying 18 with a 2-0 victory on the road.  The Rapids have not scored in their last 600 minutes of play, stretching back to last season.

At Seattle:

Obafemi Martins scored the only goal of the match in the 39th minute as the Seattle Sounders, despite finishing the game with only ten men, held off the visiting Houston Dynamo 1-0.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Kekuta Menneh (56') and Octavio Rivero (66') delivered the second-half scoring as the Vancouver Whitecaps blanked the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0.

At Portland, Oregon:

Nat Borchers (23'), Maximiliano Urruti (62'), and Diego Chara (87') each delivered a goal as the Portland Timbers picked up their first win of the season, 3-1 at home over previously-unbeaten FC Dallas.
