OFC Champions League

Four games were played on Tuesday as the second cycle of contests from OFC Champions League group-stage play commenced in Fiji.

GROUP A:

Both games were played at Govind Park in Ba.

In the opener, Saula Waga delivered a hat trick (32', 46', 53') as Ba defeated Lupe ole Soaga 3-1, eliminating the Samoan club from the tournament.

In the nightcap, Jean-Christ Wajoka scored twice (37', 66') as Gaitcha kept their chances of advancing alive with a 5-2 beatdown of AS Pirae, eliminating the Tahitian club from the tournament.

Group A Standings:

1.    Ba FC (GP: 2; GD: +5; PTS: 6)
2.    Gaitcha FCN (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 3)
3. z-Lupe ole Soaga (GP: 2; GD: -2; PTS: 1)
4. z-AS Pirae (GP: 2; GD: -3; PTS: 1)

GROUP B:

Both games were played at National Stadium in Suva.

In the opener, Darren White scored twice (68', 87') as Auckland City dominated Western United 3-0, eliminating the club from the Solomon Islands from the tournament.

In the nightcap, Osea Vakatalesau scored twice (16', 47') and Fenedy Masauvakalo scored the winning goal in the opening minute of second half stoppage time as Amicale FC defeated Suva FC 3-2, knocking the club from the host country from the tournament.

Group B Standings:

1.   Auckland City FC (GP: 2; GD: +6; PTS: 6)
2.   Amicale FC (GP: 2; GD: +2; PTS: 6)
3. z-Suva FC (GP: 2; GD: -4; PTS: 0)
4. z-Western United (GP: 2; GD: -4; PTS: 0)
