UEFA: Opening Match Of Madrid Derby (Rematch of Last Year's Final) Ends In Scoreless Stalemate; Juve Top Monaco In Series Opener

The UEFA Champions League's quarterfinal round commenced on Tuesday with two games.

At Turin, Italy:

Arturo Vidal's penalty kick in the 57th minute (that's him celebrating after scoring) lifted Juventus to a 1-0 series-opening home win over AS Monaco.

At Madrid:

The opening contest between Atletico Madrid and visiting Real Madrid (game one of a two-match rematch of last year's final) ended in a 0-0 stalemate.  Here, we see Los Galacticos' Raphael Varane tracking the run of the Mattress Makers' Antoine Griezmann.
