Adam Jahn scored the only goal of the lone Tuesday Major League Soccer contest in the 54th minute while goalkeeper David Bingham saved Giles Barnes' penalty kick four minutes later as the San Jose Earthquakes knocked off the Houston Dynamo 1-0 on the road in a triumphant return to Texas for former Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear.
