Canadian Championship Final: Impact Come Back From Two-Goal Deficit, Salvage Series-Opening Home Draw With Caps

At Montreal:

In Wednesday's opening contest of the Amway Canadian Championship Final (with the Voyager Cup and the lone Canadian slot in the 2016-17 CONCACAF Champions League at stake), Laurent Ciman (84') and Anthony Jackson-Hamel (85') each scored a goal a minute apart as the Montreal Impact battled back from a two-goal deficit to salvage a series-opening 2-2 home draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps.  Darren Mattocks (65') and Pedro Morales (72') provided the 'Caps' goals.

The series will conclude in Vancouver on August 26.
