MLS: Timbers And Quakes Settle For Scoreless Draw As DV8's PK Try Hits Crossfire; Fire Blank Visiting Hoops

Two games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At San Jose, California:

Diego Valeri's penalty kick in the 75th minute hit the crossbar as the Portland Timbers settled for a 0-0 road deadlock with the San Jose Earthquakes.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

David Accam (4') and Shaun Maloney (PK-85') each scored a goal as the Chicago Fire ended FC Dallas' five-game winning streak with a 2-0 home victory.
