Both games in the semifinal round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup were contested on Wednesday.
At Chester, Pennsylvania:
Sebastien Le Toux scored the only goal of the match in the 74th minute as the Philadelphia Union locked up their second straight US Open Cup Final appearance by defeating the visiting Chicago Fire 1-0.
At Kansas City, Kansas:
Soni Mustivar (35'), Benny Feilhaber (80'), and Krisztian Nemeth (85') each scored once as Sporting Kansas City overcame visiting Real Salt Lake 3-1.
The US Open Cup Final will take place at Chester, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, September 30 as Sporting Kansas City will visiting the Philadelphia Union.
