MLS: Caps, Reds, Dynamo, Rapids, Sounders Grab Saturday Wins; Crew and Visiting Impact Draw

Six games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Masato Kudo (60') and Christian Bolanos (66') each scored once as the Vancouver Whitecaps came back from behind to upend the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1 in a Cascadia Cup clash.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Ignacio Piatti scored twice (26', 58') while Didier Drogba (PK-57') and Dominic Oduro (90'+3) each tallied once as the Montreal Impact erased a three-goal deficit to gain a 4-4 road draw with the Columbus Crew.  Kei Kamara (16', 45'+1) and Federico Higuain (48', PK-53') each scored twice for the Crew.

At Toronto:

Tsubasa Endoh scored the only goal of the match in the 28th minute as Toronto FC, in their first home match at refurbished BMO Field, defeated visiting FC Dallas 1-0.

At Houston:

Giles Barnes (30') and Andrew Wenger (45'+1) each scored once as the Houston Dynamo snapped a six-game winless streak with a 2-0 home blanking of Sporting Kansas City.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Jermaine Jones scored the game's lone goal in the 47th minute as the Colorado Rapids defeated visiting Real Salt Lake 1-0.

At Seattle:

Clint Dempsey (26') and Jordan Morris (89') each scored once as the Seattle Sounders blanked the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-0.
