Will Johnson's equalizer in the 42nd minute enabled Toronto FC to salvage a 1-1 home draw with New York City. Kwadwo Poku scored for the visiting Citizens in the 16th minute.
At Harrison, New Jersey:
Mike Grella scored the only goal of the match in the 58th minute as the New York Red Bulls defeated the visiting Chicago Fire 1-0.
