MLS: Sunday Wins For Dynamo, SKC, NYC FC

Three games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Houston:

In a contest postponed from Saturday due to inclement weather in South Texas, Giles Barnes' goal in the 65th minute proved to be all the scoring in the Houston Dynamo's 1-0 home win over Real Salt Lake.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Second-half goals from Dom Dwyer (74') and Jacob Peterson (79') carried Sporting Kansas City to a 2-1 come-from-behind home victory over Orlando City.

At Portland, Oregon:

Tommy McNamara scored the winning goal in the 65th minute as New York City knocked off the Portland Timbers 2-1 on the road.
