US Open Cup: Jersey Express Advance, Will Take On Cosmos Next

At Jamaica, New York:

In the final contest of the second round proper of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on Thursday, the Jersey Express from the PDL defeated the New York Pancyprian-Freedoms of the USASA 1-0 on the road.

Here are the match-ups for the third round (featuring the US-based clubs from the second-division North American Soccer League), with the games scheduled for June 1.

The fourth round will see the first appearances of US-based Major League Soccer clubs.  The fourth round is set for June 15 (all 16 games set to be played that day), with the Portland Timbers hosting the San Jose Earthquakes in the round's lone all-MLS match-up at 7:30 PM Pacific Time.

The hosts are listed first with all times Pacific.

At Jacksonville, Florida:

Jacksonville Armada (NASL) vs. The Villages SC (PDL), 4:00 PM; winner to host Orlando City SC (4:00 PM Pacific Time/Time TBD)

At Fort Lauderdale, Florida:

Fort Lauderdale Strikers (NASL) vs. Richmond Kickers (USL), 4:00 PM; winner to visit DC United at Boyds, Maryland (4:30 PM Pacific Time)

At Rochester, New York:

Rochester Rhinos (USL) vs. Lansdowne Bhoys FC (USASA), 4:00 PM; if the Rhinos win, they will host the New York Red Bulls; if the Bhoys win, they'll take on the Red Bulls at Harrison, New Jersey (4:05/4:30 PM Pacific Time)

At Indianapolis:

Indy Eleven (NASL) vs. Louisville City FC (USL), 4:30 PM; the Chicago Fire will host the Indy Eleven at Bridgeview, Illinois (5:30 PM Pacific Time)if the NASL club wins; the Fire will travel to Louisville, Kentucky (4:00 PM Pacific Time) if the USL club wins

At Queens, New York:

New York Cosmos (NASL) vs. Jersey Express (PDL), 4:30 PM; winner to visit New York City FC at Bronx, New York (4:00 PM Pacific Time)

At Cary, North Carolina:

Carolina Railhawks (NASL) vs. Charlotte Independence (USL), 4:30 PM; winner to host the New England Revolution at either Cary or Charlotte, North Carolina (4:00 PM/4:30 PM Pacific Time)

At Chattanooga, Tennessee:

Chattanooga FC (NPSL) vs. Harrisburg City Islanders (USL), 4:30 PM; the winner will visit the Philadelphia Union at Chester, Pennsylvania (4:00 PM Pacific)

At St. Petersburg, Florida:

Tampa Bay Rowdies (NASL) vs. FC Cincinnati (USL), 4:30 PM, with the winner to visit Columbus Crew FC (4:00 PM Pacific Time)

At Miami:

Miami FC (NASL) vs. Wilmington Hammerheads FC (USL), 5:00 PM with the winner to visit Real Salt Lake at Sandy, Utah (5:00 PM Pacific Time)

At Yukon, Oklahoma:

Rayo OKC (NASL) vs. Oklahoma City Energy FC (USL), 5:00 PM; should Rayo OKC win, they will host FC Dallas at Yukon, Oklahoma; shout the Energy win, they will visit FC Dallas at Frisco, Texas (6:00 PM/5:30 PM Pacific Time)

Sacramento Republic FC (USL) vs. Kitsap Pumas (PDL), 7:30 PM; the winner will travel to Tukwila, Washington for a 7:30 PM Pacific Time encounter with the Seattle Sounders

At Peoria, Arizona:

Arizona United SC (USL) vs. Colorado Springs Switchbacks (USL), 7:30 PM with a trip to Commerce City, Colorado and a fourth-round encounter with the Colorado Rapids going to the winner (6:00 PM Pacific Time)
