Euro 2016: Azzuri, Spain Advance To Round of 16; Czechs Battle Back To Earn Draw With Blazers

Three games were contested in Euro 2016 group-stage play in Europe on Friday.

GROUP D:

At Saint-Etienne:

Milan Skoda (76') and Tomas Necid (PK-89') each scored once as the Czech Republic battled back from a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 draw with Croatia.  Ivan Perisic (37') and Ivan Rakitic (59') each scored once for The Blazers.  Shortly before the Czechs' game-tying penalty kick, some Croatia "fans" threw some flares on the pitch in the 89th minute.

At Nice:
Alvaro Morata scored twice as Spain saw off Turkey.
Alvaro Morata scored twice (34', 48') as Spain laid claim to a Round-of-16 berth following their 3-0 domination of Turkey.

GROUP E:

At Toulouse:

Eder (that's him celebrating here)scored the only goal of the match in the 88th minute as Italy clinched a berth in the knockout stage with their 1-0 victory over Sweden.
