Euro 2016: Monday Wins For Spain, Italy; Republic of Ireland and Sweden Draw In Saint-Denis

The European Championship continued on Monday in France with three more games.

GROUP D:

At Toulouse:
Spain's Gerard Pique, second right, scores the opening
Gerard Pique scored the only goal of the match in the 87th minute (shown here) as two-time defending continental champions Spain defeated the Czech Republic 2-0.

PARIS, FRANCE - JUNE 13:  Shane Long of Republic of

Ciaran Clark's own goal in the 71st minute lifted Sweden to a 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland.  Wes Hoolahan scored for the Irish in the 48th minute. At Lyon:
Italy's forward Pelle (R) celebrates with Italy's goalkeeper
