Following a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation, followed by 30 minutes of scoreless overtime, Robert Lewandowski, Arkadiusz Milik, Kamil Glik, Jakub Blaszczykowski (who scored in the 39th minute during regulation), and Grzegorz Krychowiak (who converted the deciding kick---which was followed by the above celebration) all converted their spot kicks as Poland took out Switzerland 5-4 in the penalty-kick shootout to advance to the quarterfinal round.Associated Press poll by Darko Bandic
