MLS: Rapids, Hoops, Quakes Nab Wins On Three-Draw Saturday

Six games were played in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Fabian Espindola's goal in the 89th minute lifted DC United to a 1-1 road draw with the Columbus Crew.  Ola Kamara scored in the 63rd minute for the hosts.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Marlon Hairston scored the only goal of the match in the 78th minute as the Colorado Rapids stretched their MLS unbeaten run to 14 (and remained unbeaten in ten) games with their 1-0 home victory over Sporting Kansas City.

At Frisco, Texas:

Maximiliano Urruti (23'), Mauro Diaz (41'), and Mauro Rosales (90'+2) each scored once as FC Dallas bounced back from their midweek embarrassment against Seattle with a 3-1 home triumph over the Chicago Fire.

At Sandy, Utah:

Real Salt Lake and the visiting New England Revolution battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Julio Baptista (14') and Cyle Larin (50') each delivered a goal as Orlando City gained a 2-2 road draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps.  Nicolas Mezquida (35') and Masato Kudo (43') each tallied once for the hosts.

At San Jose, Califronia:

Simon Dawkins scored the winning goal in the 70th minute as the San Jose Earthquakes, despite finishing the match with nine men, upended visiting Toronto FC 2-1.
