MLS: Sounders, Timbers, Dynamo, Revs, Crew Grab Saturday Wins; Citizens and Hoops Battle To 2-2 Draw In The Bronx; Goose Eggs For Rapids and Quakes

With the hosts listed first and all times Pacific, seven games are on the Saturday Major League Soccer schedule.

At Seattle:

Jordan Morris scored the only goal of the match in the 81st minute as the Seattle Sounders downed the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 in a critical Cascadia Cup clash with playoff implications for both clubs.

At Portland, Oregon:

Diego Valeri (46') and Fanendo Adi (53') each scored once (with Darren Mattocks assisting on both goals) as the Portland Timbers defeated the visiting Philadelphia Union 2-1.

At New York:

Tommy McNamara (8') and Khiry Shelton (78') each scored once as New York City salvaged a 2-2 home draw with FC Dallas.  Maximiliano Urruti (20') and Michael Barrios (52') provided the scoring for the visiting Hoops.

At Orlando, Florida:

Ethan Finlay had a hand in all three of his team's goal, his own in the sixth minute, and Ola Kamara's double (44', 90'+5; he assisted on the Ethan Finlay tally) as the Columbus Crew climbed out of the Eastern Conference basement following their 4-1 road win over Orlando City.

At Montreal:

Keyln Rowe scored twice (27', 59') and assisted once (on Kei Kamara's opening-minute tally) as the New England Revolution upended the Montreal Impact 3-1 on the road.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

The Colorado Rapids and visiting San Jose Earthquakes battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Sandy, Utah:

Alex delivered the game's lone goal in the 36th minute as the Houston Dynamo handed Real Salt Lake their first home defeat 1-0.
