MLS: Caps, Revs, Reds, Rapids, Timbers Gather Saturday Wins; Late Goal Gains Road Draw For Impact Against Philly; Likewise Sounders Draw On Road With Quakes

With all times Pacific and the hosts listed first, Saturday finds seven Major League Soccer matches.

At Columbus, Ohio:

In a contest which was delayed for 90 minutes due to heavy rain, Gaston Sauro (13'), Andrew Jacobson (74'), and Erik Hurtado (74') each scored once as the Vancouver Whitecaps knocked off the Columbus Crew 3-1 on the road.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Matteo Mancosu's equalizer in the 88th minute lifted the Montreal Impact to a 1-1 road draw with the Philadelphia Union.  Tranquillo Barnetta tallied for the hosts at 45 minutes.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Juan Agudelo (21'), Lee Nguyen (42'), and Diego Fagundez (58') each delivered a goal as the New England Revolution continued their late push for a playoff berth by knocking off visiting New York City 3-1.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Jozy Altidore scored a goal in the 32nd minute and assisted on Jonathan Osorio's tally in the 52nd minute as Toronto FC reclaimed top spot in the Eastern Conference standings following their 2-1 road win over the Chicago Fire.

At Frisco, Texas:

Dominique Badji scored the game's lone goal in the 52nd minute as the Colorado Rapids prevented FC Dallas from locking up a playoff berth by knocking off the Hoops 1-0 on the road.

At Portland, Oregon:

Fanendo Adi scored the only goal of the match in the 12th minute as the Portland Timbers, in front of their 100th consecutive home sellout crowd, defeated visiting Real Salt Lake 1-0.

At San Jose, California:

Nicolas Lodeiro's equalizer in the 80th minute lifted the Seattle Sounders to a 1-1 road draw with the San Jose Earthquakes.  Chris Wondolowski scored for the hosts in the 20th minute.
