Ricardo Lopes scored in the 59th minute on Wednesday as Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, despite dropping a 2-1 road decision in game two of their AFC Champions League semifinal series with FC Seoul, won their series 5-3 on aggregate.
Jeonbuk will face Al-Ain in the two-match Champions League final, which will open on November 19 at Jeonju, South Korea. The return match is set to take place on November 26 at Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.
The winner will advance to December's FIFA Club World Cup set to take place in Japan.
