UEFA Champions League, Group A: Gunners, PSG Advance To Knockout Stage; Ludogorets, Basel Left To Battle For Europa League Round-of-32 Berth

The second half of UEFA Champions League group-stage action opened with eight games on Tuesday, two of them in Group A.

At Sofia, Bulgaria:

Mesut Ozil delivered the game winner in the 88th minute as Arsenal erased a two-goal deficit and upended Ludogorets Razgrad 3-2 on the road to advance to the knockout stage (again!).  In the above photo, we see Ludogorets' Cosmin Moti using his noggin in his battle with the Gunners' Olivier Giroud.

At Basel, Switzerland:

Thomas Meunier scored the winning goal in the 90th minute as Paris Saint-Germain defeated FC Basel 2-1 on the road to grab a berth in the knockout stage.  That's PSG head coach (or manager) Unai Emery prior to the match.

NOTE:  Ludogorets Razgrad gained a 1-1 road draw with FC Basel on September 13.
