UEFA Champions League, Group E: Monaco, Leverkusen Grab Wednesday Wins

Eight games were played on Wednesday in UEFA Champions League group-stage play, with two of the contests taking place in Group E.

At Fontvieille, Monaco:

Radamel Falcao scored twice (29', 41') as AS Monaco closed in on a berth in the knockout stage with a 2-1 home win over CSKA Moscow. The look on the faces of Horses' head coach Leonid Slutski (second left) and his assistants says it all here.
