UEFA Champions League: Citizens, Mattress Makers Take Series Openers

The UEFA Champions League's Round of 16 resumed with two games on Tuesday.

At Manchester, England:

Sergio Aguero scored twice (58', 71') as Manchester City battled back from a pair of one-goal deficits to upend visiting AS Monaco 5-3 in the opening contest of their two-game series. Shown here are the happy Citizens celebrating.

At Leverkusen, Germany:

Kevin Gameiro's successfully-converted penalty kick in the 59th minute proved to be the game winner as Atletico Madrid knocked off Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 in the opening match of their two-game series.  Shown here is Fernando Torres, who scored the Mattress Makers' fourth goal in the 86th minute.
