CAF Champions League

The first round of the CAF Champions League reached its' midway point on Sunday with ten games.

At Port Harcourt, Nigeria:

Rivers United FC dominated visiting Al-Merrikh of Sudan 3-0 in game one.

At Sousse, Tunisia:

Etoile du Sahel delivered a series-opening 3-0 home beat-down on AS Tanda (Ivory Coast).

At Tunis:

In a match played in the Tunisian capital due to security concerns in Libya, Al-Ahli Tripoli blanked Morocco's FUS Rabat 2-0 in the opening match of their two-game series.

At Beira, Mozambique:

Ferroviario Beira blanked visiting Barrack Young Controllers from Liberia 2-0 in match one of their two-game series.

At Cairo:

Zamalek dominated guests Enugu Rangers from Nigeria 4-1 in their series opener.

At Bakau, The Gambia:

AS Vita Club (Democratic Republic of the Congo) gained a series-opening 1-1 road draw with The Gambia Ports Authority.

At Garoua, Cameroon:

Coton Sport defeated Madagascar's  CNaPS Sport 1-0 in the opening match of their two-game series.

At Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo:

TP Mazembe settled for a series-opening 1-1 home draw with Zimbabwe's CAPS United.

At Dolisie, Republic of the Congo:

Saint George from Ethiopia knocked off AC Leopards 1-0 on the road in their series opener.

At Omdurman, Sudan:

Al-Hilal dominated visiting AS Port-Louis 2000 from Mauritius 3-0 in the opening match of their two-contest series.
