MLS: Revs Ground Down Loons For First Win Of Season; Goose Eggs For RSL And Red Bulls In Jersey; Crew Score Late To Knock Off Visiting Timbers

Three games on a limited Major League Soccer Saturday schedule were contested.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Juan Agudelo scored twice (4', 41') as the New England Revolution scored four goals in the first half en route to their first league win of the season, 5-2 over visiting Minnesota United.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Real Salt Lake, in their first game under interim manager Daryl Shore, held the home-standing New York Red Bulls to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Columbus, Ohio:

In his MLS debut, Niko Hansen scored the winning goal in the 84th minute as the Columbus Crew knocked off the visiting Portland Timbers 3-2.
