In the opener, Cesar Castillo scored twice as Tahiti's Central Sport dominated Samoa's Lupe o le Soaga 3-0.
In the nightcap, Tado Welepane scored twice (61', 69') as Magenta, from the host country, destroyed Papua New Guinea's Madang 5-0.
