AFC Champions League

Eight games were contested in the AFC Champions League's group stage on Tuesday.
GROUP A:

At Tashkent, Uzbekistan:

Kaveh Rezaei's equalizer in the 87th minute lifted Esteghlal to a 1-1 road draw with Lokomotiv Tashkent.  Marat Bikmaev scored for the hosts in the 13th minute.

At Buraidah, Saudi Arabia:

Makhete Diop scored twice (37', 58') as Al-Ahli Dubai knocked off Al-Taawoun 3-1 on the road.

Group A Standings::

1. Al-Ahli Dubai (GP: 4; GD: +1; PTS: 7)
2. Esteghlal (GP: 4; GD: +4; PTS: 7)
3. Al-Taawoun (GP: 4; GD: -4; PTS: 4)
4. Lokomotiv Tashkent (GP: 4; GD: -1; PTS: 4)

NOTES:  Al-Ahli Dubai defeated Esteghlal 2-1 at home on February 20; Al-Taawoun defeated Lokomotiv Tashkent 1-0 at home, also on February 20.



GROUP C:

At Isfahan, Iran:

Morteza Tabrizi scored the winning goal in the 54th minute as Zob Ahan defeated visiting FC Bunyodkor 2-1 and ousted the Uzbeki club from the tournament.

At Al Ain, United Arab Emirates:

Omar Al-Somah scored twice (43', 89') as Al-Ahli Jeddah gained a 2-2 road draw with Al-Ain.  Ismail Ahmed (6') and Omar Abdulrahman (PK-85') each scored once for the hosts.

Group C Standings:

1.    Al-Ahli Jeddah (GP: 4; GD: +3; PTS: 8)   
2.    Zob Ahan (GP: 4; GD: +2; PTS: 7)
3.    Al-Ain (GP: 4; GD: +1; PTS: 6) 
4. z-FC Bunyodkor (GP: 4; GD: -6; PTS: 0)

z-Eliminated from tournament


GROUP F:

At Sydney, Australia:

FC Seoul, with Dejan Damjanovic scoring twice (PK-42', 71') defeated the Western Sydney Wanderers 3-2 on the road.

At Saitama, Japan:

Rafael Silva scored the game's lone goal in the 44th minute as Urawa Red Diamonds defeated visiting Shanghai SIPG 1-0.

Group F Standings:

1. Urawa Red Diamonds (GP: 4; GD: +7; PTS: 9)
2. Shanghai SIPG (GP: 4; GD: +5; PTS: 9)
3. FC Seoul (GP: 4; GD: -4; PTS: 3)
4. Western Sydney Wanderers (GP: 4; GD: -8; PTS: 3)



GROUP H:

At Seogwipo, South Korea:

Dylan McGowan scored the winning goal in the 49th minute as Adelaide United knocked off Jeju United 3-1 on the road.

At Nanjing, China:

Alex Teixeira (2'), Ramires (6'), and Hong Jeong-Ho (42') each scored a first-half goal as Jiangsu Suning dominated visiting Gamba Osaka 3-0 to lock up a berth in the knockout stage.

Group H Standings:

1. x-Jiangsu Suning (GP: 4; GD: +6; PTS; 12)
2.    Adelaide United (GP: 4; GD: -2; PTS: 4)
3.    Jeju United (GP: 4; GD: 0; PTS: 4)

x-Clinched berth in knockout stage

NOTE:  Adelaide United had a win and a draw in two games against Jeju United.
