Marlon Piedrahita (72') and Juan Fernando Quintero (74') each scored a goal two minutes apart in the second half as Indpendiente Medellin came from behind to defeat FBC Melgar 2-1 on the road.

Felipe Gedoz scored the winning goal in the 87th minute as Atletico Paranaense defeated visiting Flamengo 2-1 in a battle of Brazilian clubs.
