The semifinal round of the OFC Champions League opened last Saturday (April 8) with two games.
At Pirae, Tahiti:
Cameron Howieson (48') and Clayton Lewis (79') each scored once as Auckland City blanked AS Tefana 2-0 in the road in the opening match of their two-game series.
At Noumea, New Caledonia:
Kevin Nemia (6') and Nicolas Marin (PK-90'+2) each scored once as AS Magenta salvaged a series-opening 2-2 home draw with Team Wellington. Tom Jackson (61') and Andy Bevin (81') each scored once for the club from New Zealand.
