Tim Howard made a number of key saves to preserve the shutout.
The Americans will face the winner of Sunday's Mexico-Jamaica game in Wednesday final, to be contested at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California (6:00 PM Pacific Time, Fox Sports One).
