In Saturday's opening match of the AFC Champions League Final, Rafael Silva's goal in the seventh minute enabled Japan's Urawa Red Diamonds to gain a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Al-Hilal.
Omar Khribin scored for the Saudi club in the 37th minute.
The series is set to conclude next Saturday at Saitama, Japan.
The winner would qualify for the quarterfinal round of next month's FIFA Club World Cup, set to be staged in the United Arab Emirates.
