Copa Libertadores: It's Gremio Vs. Lanus For The Marbles

At Porto Alegre, Brazil:

Despite dropping a 1-0 game-two home decision to Barcelona SC of Ecuador (who were reduced to ten men) on Wednesday, Gremio still won their Copa Libertadores semifinal series 3-1 on aggregate and advanced to the tournament's two-match final against Argentina's Lanus.

The Copa Libertadores Final will open on November 22 at Porto Alegre with the return contest set for November 29 at Lanus, Argentina.

The winner will advance to the semifinal round of next month's FIFA Club World Cup, to be staged in the United Arab Emirates.

Gremio will be gunning for their third South American title, having won in 1983 and 1995 while Lanus will be making their championship final debut.
