UEFA Champions League, Group F: Citizens Advance To Knockout Stage; Victory For Shakhtar; Feyenoord Eliminated

Two games were contested on Wednesday in Group F of the UEFA Champions League.

At Naples, Italy:

Napoli (Italy) vs. Manchester City (England)

Sergio Aguero scored the winning goal in the 69th minute as Manchester City locked up a knockout-stage berth after their 4-2 road win over Napoli.  In the above snapshot, we see the Citizens' Ilkay Gundogan (center) challenged by the Light Blues' Marek Hamsik.

At Kharkiv, Ukraine (due to war-like conditions in eastern Ukraine):

Marlos scored twice (17', 68') as Shakhtar Donetsk knocked Feyenoord Rotterdam out of the tournament by defeating the visiting Dutch club 3-1.  Here, we see Shakhtar coach Paulo Fonseca shouting instructions to Fred as other players are celebrating a goal as they Ukrainian club all but punched their ticket for the knockout stage.
