UEFA Champions League, Group G: Black Eagles Advance To Knockout Stage; Monaco Eliminated

Two games in Group G of the UEFA Champions League were contested on Tuesday.

At Istanbul, Turkey:

Anderson Souza Conceicao (a.k.a Talisca) delivered the equalizer in the 41st minute as Besiktas gained a 1-1 home deadlock with FC Porto to lock up top spot in Group G and a berth in the knockout stageFelipe Augusto de Almeida Monteiro scored for the Portuguese club in the 29th minute. That's Dragons coach Sergio Conceicao sitting on the sidelines.

At Fontvieille, Monaco:
Timo Werner (Leipzig)
Timo Werner scored twice (9', PK-31', that's him here) as RB Leipzig carried a four-goal first-half en route to a 4-1 road domination over AS Monaco that knocked the hosts out of European competition.
