Copa Libertadores: Flamengo Knock Off Boca Juniors On Road To Clinch Knockout-Stage Berth

Copa Libertadores group-stage play continued on Wednesday with five games.

GROUP A:

At Maturin, Venezuela:

Lucas Trejo scored the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute as Monagas knocked off visiting Defensor Sporting 1-0.



GROUP C:

At Tucuman, Argentina:

Leandro Diaz (30'), Gervasio Nunez (44'), and Luis Miguel Rodriguez (89') each scored once as Atletico Tucuman dominated The Strongest 3-0 at home.


GROUP D:

At Bogota, Colombia:

Independiente Santa Fe and visiting Flamengo played to a 0-0 stalemate.



GROUP F:

At Montevideo, Uruguay:

Sebastian Rodriguez (39'), Guzman Corujo (80'), Leandro Barcia (85'), and Gonzalo Bergessio (88') each scored once as Club Nacional scored three goals in a nine-minute span in the final quarter-hour to demolish visiting Real Garcilaso 4-0.
