Then, in the penalty-kick shootout, Giovanni Hernandez, Braynner Garcia, Sherman Cardenas, Victor Cortes, and Carlos Bacca all converted their spot kicks as the hosts won the shootout 5-4 to advance to the Clausura final against the Once Caldas-Sante Fe winner.

Millonarios Advance In Colombian Clausura

After dropping their Sunday Colombian Primera A Clausura quarterfinal-round series opener on the road against Envigado, Millonarios turned things around on Thursday as Alejandro Cichero (9') and Omar Vasquez (25') provided the scoring as the club from the capital city took game two 2-1 at home over Envigaro, then, with no overtime periods, the two-match series went directly into the penalty-kick shootout. Mayer Candelo, Nelson Ramos, Rafael Robayo, Edison Toloza, Juan Ortiz, Jefferson Angulo, and Jose Mera all converted their spot kicks as Millonarios won an exciting shootout 7-6 to advance to the Clausura playoff semifinal round.
