Fernando's own goal in the 20th minute proved fatal for Manchester City on Wednesday as Real Madrid took game two 1-0 at home in their UEFA Champions League semifinal series.

For the second time in three years, Los Galacticos will battle cross-town rivals Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final to take place on Saturday, May 28 at Milan, Italy.

Antoine Griezmann scored the series-winning goal in the 54th minute on Tuesday(shown here) as Atletico Madrid, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two road decision to Bayern Munich, won their two-game UEFA Champions League semifinal series on away goals, with the aggregate score at 2-2.
The Mattress Makers advanced to their second Champions League final in three years with the victory and will face the winner of the Real Madrid-Manchester City series (currently at 0-0 on aggregate) on May 28 at San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.

Manchester City (England) vs. Real Madrid (Spain):
The series will open at Manchester, England on April 26 with the return match to be contested at Madrid on May 4.
Bayern Munich (Germany) vs. Atletico Madrid (Spain)
The opening contest will take place at Munich, Germany on April 27 with the return match to be contested at Madrid on May 3.
The winners will face off in the Champions League final to be played at San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy on Saturday, May 28.
The winner will play in the FIFA Club World Cup to be played in Japan this coming December.
The quarterfinal round of the UEFA Champions League closed with two Wednesday contests.
At Lisbon:
Goals from Arturo Vidal (38') and Thomas Muller (52', that's him celebrating after scoring) lifted Bayern Munich to a 2-2 game-two road draw with SL Benfica as the German powerhouse won their series 3-2 on aggregate.
At Madrid:

With goals from Robert Lewandowski (73') and Thomas Muller (90'+1), Bayern Munich erased a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 game-two regulation draw with visiting Juventus, squaring the two-game series at 4-4 on aggregate, forcing 30 minutes of overtime. At Saint Petersburg, Russia:
Nicolas Gaitan (85', that's him celebrating after scoring) and Talisca (90'+6) each scored a goal in the final minutes as SL Benfica defeated Zenit Saint Petersburg 2-1 on the road in game two and took out the Russian club 3-1 on aggregate.
At London:
Adrien Rabiot (16') and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (67', that's him celebrating afterward) each scored a goal as Paris Saint-Germain registered a second 2-1 win over Chelsea, this time on the road, to oust the English club 4-2 on aggregate.

At Madrid:
