Gary Browne equalizer in the 82nd minute enabled Linfield to gain a 1-1 Saturday IFA Premiership road draw with Lisburn Distillery. Jordan Forsythe scored for the Whites in the 38th minute.

Easy Road Finale For Blues As Regular Season Concludes

At Ballyskeagh, Northern Ireland:


Michael Carvill (12'), Peter Thompson (65'), and Daryl Fordyce (83') each scored a goal as Linfield wrapped up regular-season play in the IFA Premiership with a 3-0 road domination of Lisburn Distillery on Saturday.  The Blues finished atop the league standings.  They will be playing in the Championship Round with one game against each of the other clubs who finished at the top of the standings (Portadown, Cliftonville, Coleraine, Crusaders FC, and Glentoran).  Whoever finishes atop the group will take part in the opening qualifying round for next season's UEFA Champions League.

Peter Thompson's equalizer in the 65th minute enabled league-leading Linfield to gain a 1-1 Tuesday IFA Premiership home draw with Lisburn Distillery.  Mark Cooling's successful penalty kick in the 15th minute provided the visiting basement residents' lone score.
